Treasure Behind the Cobblestone is an adventure of a family doing a summer remodeling project on an historic old cobblestone cabin, in the town of Medicine Park, Oklahoma. Seventh grader, Noah Marlow, finds himself entranced by a faded old newspaper article about legendary historical figures, including the outlaw Jessie James. The stories and legends surround the ancient Wichita Mountains in Southwest Oklahoma and the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.

 

Noah and his cousins find friendship and adventure with a local brother and sister, whose mother owns The Old Plantation restaurant. The cousins and friends are plunged into the world of treasure hunting in the Wildlife Refuge as they try to interpret the symbols on a mysterious map. They encounter many hair-raising obstacles on their journey. The adventures that follow Noah and new best friends, take them into danger! Legends, robbers, bikers, and bison! The treasure behind the cobblestone may make them Rich….or Dead!
