Shortly into their journey, they meet up with Elizabeth. The body of the young bride lies at the bottom of an old well. In the search for Elizabeth’s murderer, they are joined by Dave, who has taken on the persona of a Dogyote—half dog, but mostly fearless coyote.

 

One by one, the usual suspects are eliminated. Clues are collected, facts checked, and the culprits are identified, but the heroes are still crows. They must find unconventional methods to find the wizard and use magic to reverse the spell.
