Euphoria is a futuristic science fiction tale about an unscrupulous mining company that arrive on a world they name Nolan’s Planet which is rich in a valuable ore and put the indigenous humanoid population, the Xu, to work as slaves.

 

The humans who work the mining camps discover that relationships between humans and the Xu result in hybrids of high intellect and aggression. A human, Jason Kane, falls in love with the Xu Trine L’ah and the result is a hybrid girl they call Trine Ahn.

 

Euphoria, derived from a mildly narcotic plant on Nolan’s planet, was developed to interface with the brain’s neurotransmitters with quantum space. Whoever ingests the gas is transported mentally and physically to whatever place and time they happen to think of.

 

To destabilize Excon Mining and to drive the human exploiters from her world Trine Ahn joins forces with Ronz’ brother, Jack, to produce euphoria and start an epidemic of drug use throughout Excon’s mining camps.
